Livia pioneered sustainable transformation practices before ESG factors were established. She has devoted her career to helping organizations create value with and beyond financial returns. Currently, she serves as a non-executive and independent director at Amundi SGR spa and is a member of the Sustainability Committee at Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR. She is also equity partner and senior advisor at Methodos Group – a Digital360 company – where she previously held positions as a board member and top executive. Livia serves on the Scientific Committee of Nedcommunity, the Itlian community of Non Executive and Indipendent Directores and as a Board advisor works with boards of directors and management teams on sustainable business transformation.
Alessia has over 20 years of experience in corporate communications for companies operating in the financial and banking sectors. Currently, she serves as the Director of Communication and Public Affairs at BFF Banking Group, our founder. Her work focuses on ESG strategies and Change Management initiatives, recognizing these as integral components of both reputation management and financial performance.
Roberto was Vice President of the Factoring Department at BFF Banking Group until 2021. He graduated in Law from the University of Milan, and has held various roles within the Group since 1987.
Niccolò is one of Italy’s foremost experts in management, fundraising, and communication of not for profit organizations. He served as Fundraising and Communication Director at Fondazione Telethon for sixteen years and held the position of General Manager at AIRC Foundation for fifteen years, both prominent grantmaking charities in biomedical research. Currently, Niccolò holds the position of Secretary General at the Vatican Pediatric Hospital Foundation Bambino Gesù.
With over two decades of experience in international leadership roles at multinational medical device companies, he currently serves as CEO of Demetra Holding Group. Additionally, he is a member of the International Advisory Committee at SDA Bocconi and sits on the International Research & Innovation Advisory Board of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome.
Strategic advisor to the Board of Directors
After a decade first with KPMG and then McKinsey, Cristina decided to devote her career to management consulting for non-profit organizations, helping them to develop strategy and operational plans, manage projects, and raise funds. Over the years she has worked for Fondazione Telethon, AIL (Associazione italiana contro le leucemie, linfomi e mieloma), FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano), and AIFO Inclusion and Care.
Scientific advisors to the Board of Directors
Based in Brussels, Francesco has a long experience as a lobbyist in the welfare, insurance, and financial sector. He possesses deep understanding of European institutions, national governments, corporations, industry associations, media, academia, and think tanks. Francesco currently holds several key positions: he serves as Secretary General of the Cross Border Benefits Alliance – Europe (CBBA-Europe), CEO, founded of the Employee Benefits and Welfare Institute (EBWI), and is Member of the Occupational Pensions Stakeholder Group (OPSG) of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA).
Massimo is a global expert and advisor on Payments and Market Infrastructures. His career began in Banca d’Italia before moving to the World Bank, where he founded the Payment Systems Development Group and headed the Financial Inclusion and Infrastructure Global Practice. In these roles, he was directly involved in payment systems and financial inclusion reforms in over 50 countries. Currently, Massimo is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the Payment Systems Academy.
Francesca’s career has focused on academic research and management training in the area of complex healthcare management challenges both in the public and private sectors. Today she holds the position of Associate Professor at the School of Management of Bocconi University. There, she serves as the coordinator of the Healthcare Management Research Center (CERGAS) and director of the Master’s program in Healthcare Management (MiMS).
